OAA
Outreach Aid to the Americas (OAA), founded in Miami in 1994 as a non-profit organization, is dedicated to providing aid, alleviating suffering, and enhancing the dignity and quality of life for individuals, families, and communities. Central to OAA’s mission is the promotion of capacity building and citizen participation in developing sustainable, capable, and more resilient communities.
OAA has built trust through proven methodologies and tools, offering training and assistance to key stakeholders so they can contribute to improving the lives of their communities to ensure they can lead free, active, and healthy lives.
C-PReP
The Community Port Resiliency Program (C-PReP) is a flagship Outreach Aid to the Americas initiative delivered in partnership with CIFAL Miami. It focuses on strengthening the ability of airports, seaports and their surrounding communities throughout the Caribbean and Latin America to withstand and quickly recover from both natural disasters and human-made emergencies.
C-PReP offers tailored guidance, training workshops and peer-learning exchanges. These resources equip local stakeholders with the planning tools, operational protocols and strategic insights needed to anticipate risks, minimize disruptions and enhance long-term resilience.
